Privacy Policy

The short version
Vegan Recipes collects nothing. There is no account to create, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no server of ours for your data to reach. Everything the app does happens on your device.
Who this covers
This policy applies to the Vegan Recipes iOS application (“the app”), published by Devpool (“we”, “us”). It explains what happens to information when you use the app — which, in practice, is very little.
Information we collect
None. We do not collect, store, transmit or sell any personal information.
Concretely, the app does not:
- ask you to create an account or provide an email address;
- include any analytics, telemetry or crash-reporting SDK;
- include any advertising or advertising identifier;
- track you across apps or websites;
- request your contacts, photos, camera, microphone or location;
- send any data to a server operated by us — we do not run one.
What stays on your device
The app saves a few preferences locally so it behaves the way you left it. This information never leaves your iPhone, and we cannot see it:
- your chosen language (French or English);
- your appearance preference (system, light or dark);
- whether you have completed the introduction;
- the recipes you marked as favorites;
- the ingredients you ticked while browsing a recipe.
Deleting the app removes all of it. There is no backup on our side to delete, because there is nothing on our side.
Recipes and images
All 100 recipes and their photographs are bundled inside the app when you download it. The app does not fetch content from the internet, so browsing recipes generates no network request and works entirely offline.
Purchases
Unlocking the full recipe library is a one-time in-app purchase handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or receive your payment details, card number or billing address.
The app asks Apple's StoreKit whether your Apple Account has purchased the unlock, and uses the answer only to decide which recipes to display. That check happens on your device between iOS and Apple's servers.
Apple's own handling of your purchase is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children under 13. Since nothing is collected, there is nothing that could be collected from a child.
Your rights
Regulations such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, export or delete the personal data a company holds about you. We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to produce or erase. The data described above lives only on your device and is under your control.
Third parties
The app contains no third-party SDKs, no social login, no embedded browser and no external content. The only third party involved is Apple, and only when you download the app or make the in-app purchase.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of the app ever changes how information is handled, this page will be updated and the date at the top revised before that version is released. We do not apply changes retroactively.
