Browsing plant-based recipes in the app

You open a recipe app, find something you want to cook, and discover it needs four things you don't have. So you scroll. Then you order food. Every recipe app starts from the recipe. The useful question starts from the fridge.

Three steps

From the fridge to the pan.

The whole point is to remove the twenty minutes spent deciding, not to add a new place to browse.

2

Watch the list reorder

Cook

Photographed, timed, written for a weeknight. No video to sit through and no life story before the method.

Cook with what you have

The feature that changes how you use it.

Most recipe apps make you shop for a recipe. This one starts from what is already in the kitchen, which is the situation you are actually in at 7pm.

  • More than 150 ingredients to tick, kept between sessions.
  • All 100 recipes reordered by how much of each one you already have.
  • Exactly what's missing, listed per recipe — no guesswork.
  • The no-shopping-trip dishes highlighted, for when you are not going out again.

Frequently asked

Good to know.

Do the recipes work offline?

Yes — the recipes live in the app, so a weak connection in the kitchen changes nothing.

Is it suitable for a beginner?

Yes. Every recipe is timed and written step by step, and the weeknight ones are deliberately short on technique. Nothing assumes you already know how to do something.

Are the ingredients easy to find?

They are ordinary supermarket ingredients. There is no ingredient in the app that requires a specialist shop.

Does it add new recipes?

The app holds a fixed, curated set of 100 dishes rather than an endless feed. That is a deliberate choice: a hundred recipes you can actually cook beats a thousand you scroll past.

Which devices?

iPhone, on a recent version of iOS.

Dinner is already in your kitchen.

Tick what you have and find out what it can become.
